toilet paper rolls, cardboard, small boxes or shoe boxes to hide in, wood sticks and mine really love their tunnel (even though my pets have an edible tunnel you should be able to use a cardboard one just make sure they can crawl through it so they don't get stuck. Also make sure to get a play pen so they can get some extercise out of their cage every day.What are some directions for toys that you can make yourself for guinea pigs?
i never had guinea pigs but i think a red rope to chew around could be really fun.
make sure u get a rope that is 100% natural material like cotton or hemp or so , plastic mass is bad for digestion and others.
a mirror ... let's see if he knows who that rodent is( i don't think animals can tell their own image in a mirror)
another guinea pig ... preferable opposite sex ( male Guinea pigs beat and bite the cr*p out of each other in limited space like a cage)What are some directions for toys that you can make yourself for guinea pigs?
I'm not a GP owner, just teddy bear hamsters. I own 3 hammies. They don't have toys too, aside from toilet tissue rolls to nib on. I have baskets insider their cage too so they can poop there. I put a bowl with sand too for them to bathe in. :)
