How do you get from the airport to Manhattan?

Using public transit. How would I get from either airport in Queens? I can google map directions, but is it difficult? Or should I take a cab?How do you get from the airport to Manhattan?
Cab is easiest, especially if you have luggage.

From JFK, take the Airtrain to the Jamaica LIRR station. Then take the train to Penn Station (34th and 7th).

From LaGuardia, take the Q72 bus to the Junction Blvd. subway station. There take the 7 train into Manhattan.

And from Newark, take the Airtrain to the Newark Airport Train Station. There you can take a NJ Transit train into Penn Station.
Its very easy to get from JFK to Manhattan. You can take the JFK Airtrain to Jamaica Station, where a transfer can by made to the "E" subway line (Blue Line on the subway map) or the Long Island Railroad, which will take you to Penn Station.

As for LaGuardia, there is no direct subway service to and from LGA. Therefore you will need to take a bus from the terminals to either the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street subway station, where a transfer can by made to the #7, "E", "F", "G", "R" or "V" lines (Purple, Blue Orange, Light Green or Yellow Lines).

Taxi is okay, however, they operated on the meter system. This means that a one ways cab fare from airport to your final destination in Manhattan varies depending on the distance, time of day and traffic condition.

Now, if you're traveling from JFK to Midtown, Manhattan and back, the one way cab fare is $45. This is flat fee fare that cabbies charge for trips to and from Midtown and JFK.

If you're taking a taxi from either LGA or JFK, please do take license yellow cabbies. Do not take ride from people that say will take your to Manhattan for cheaper fare, because these guys are up to no good.
