What is the fastest and best way to get to San Diego from Santa Barbara California in a car?

Went to google maps but directions have me going through L.A. and such. Wondering if you guys know any faster ways. Thank you so muchWhat is the fastest and best way to get to San Diego from Santa Barbara California in a car?
Yes, of course. Be creative and think outside the box. Indeed, LA is in the way and the traffic is horrible. Put the car on a plane and fly there.
Highway 101 south to highway I-5 southWhat is the fastest and best way to get to San Diego from Santa Barbara California in a car?
Pacific coast highway. What is the fastest and best way to get to San Diego from Santa Barbara California in a car?
Since LA is between San Diego and Santa Barbara it would make sense that you go thru there.
101 to I-5 or 101 to 405 is the way. The trick is the when. It can take three to six hours. A weekday at night is good. The middle of the night is the best.

Go on line first and check out the traffic. An accident can back you up for hours. A round about route might be worth it to get past a problem.

Try this traffic page for help. Click on more maps for Orange county and LA

Is it possible to find Planet Reach on Google Earth?

I have been thinking a lot recently about a particular game that suggests a planet called Reach and was wondering would it be possible to find it? I have tried the local Nebula called Rosette Nebula of NGC 2244... If anyone could tell me the co-ordinates or point me in the right direction i would be most thankful. Is it possible to find Planet Reach on Google Earth?
Here, this will help you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo:_Reach
Yes, I know it's an article about a computer game. But that should give you a hint about it. It's very rare for new found extra-solar planets to be given proper names; usually they just take the name of the star followed by a letter to distinguish the ordering of discovery; for example Gliese 581g. The creators of the game just made up a planet and used a name that sounded "cool" in a place in the sky that sounded "neat" and realistic.

As for NGC 2244, yes that one DOES exist. It's an object from a catalog called New General Catalog (NGC) in the constellation Monoceros (the Unicorn), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_2244 The object is fairly big in the sky (more or less the width of your index finger when you hold your arm in front of you) but it's very very dim and you'll only spot it in a very dark sky, away from big cities and street lights.
This night, NGC 2244 is south of the Moon. However, the Moon is very bright so you won't be able to see it without binoculars or a small telescope to help capture the light.

To find NGC 2244 this night, look about 15-17 degrees below the Moon (more or less the span of your open hand in front of your arm)
and about 10 degrees (more or less the size of your closed fist in front of your arm) to the left of the star Betelgeuse. Betelgeuse is more or less below and to the right of the Moon and it's a bright red star. Both should be visible to the South at around 9-10pm. This should be very easy to help you guide towards NGC 2244; but if you're not used to look at the sky, it might be a little confusing finding it, especially if you're in (even) a small city. If the weather is cloudy tonight where you live, you can get the same "beacons" about one month from now, when the Moon comes back to the same phase, around March 13. Or you can go look for Betelgeuse yourself. Because it's bright and red, that star should be reasonably easy to spot to the South at around 9-10pm.

If you want, you can download and install the program Stellarium. It's open source software and freely distributable. Have a look at its site before deciding to download and install: http://www.stellarium.org/Is it possible to find Planet Reach on Google Earth?
The planet is fictitious. Is it possible to find Planet Reach on Google Earth?
Might want to ask the creators of the game where that planet exists.

IPhone app that saves directions?

I've got an iPhone that doesn't have internet access so I can't use google maps. Are there any apps that would let me download directions over wifi and then access them later whenever I need them?IPhone app that saves directions?
Actually, Google Maps does that. The difference is that you won't be able to zoom into the map and stuff and see it clearly. But if you tap the icon on the lower right of Google Maps, you can choose "List" view which you can access even without Wi-Fi as long as you searched the directions on Wi-Fi. You can switch between List and Map offline all you want (you just won't be able to zoom in on the map)

I use this a lot when I go through the underground subways.

    Uninstall Google Chrome?

I just downloaded Real Player and it also installed Google Chrome with out asking.

    How disgusting is that?

I have tried to look for uninstall directions at Google but of course they don't offer ANY help.

Can any one help me get this crap off my browser, firefox.

    thank youUninstall Google Chrome?
    Just got this from google.com;

    Windows instructions

You can remove Google Chrome like any other Windows program. Follow these steps:

Go to Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Google Chrome %26gt; Uninstall Google Chrome.

If you want to delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, select the "Also delete browser data" checkbox.

Select the default browser you'd like to use.

Click OK in the confirmation prompt.

    The uninstall process will begin.

You can also use Windows's Control Panel to remove the browser. If you're having problems uninstalling the browser using these methods, try manually uninstalling the browser instead.

Did the browser come packaged with other software on your computer or via Google Pack? If so, your version of Google Chrome may be installed system-wide and you'll need to log in to a user account with administrative rights on your computer to uninstall the browser. Uninstalling a system-wide version of Google Chrome removes the browser for all user accounts on your computer.

    Mac instructions

Go to the folder containing Google Chrome.

Drag Google Chrome to the Trash icon in the Dock. You'll need administrative rights if it's installed in your Applications folder. To remove the Google Chrome icon from your Dock, simply drag it out of the Dock with your mouse.

    Linux instructions

Go to Applications %26gt; Debian %26gt; Applications %26gt; System %26gt; Package Management %26gt; Synaptic Package Manager.

Search for "Google Chrome" in the list of packages.

Select the "Google Chrome package" checkbox.

To completely uninstall (including configuration files), select "Mark for Complete Removal." To uninstall while saving your preferences, select "Mark for Removal."

    Click Apply.

Select Google Chrome from the "To be completely removed" menu.

    Click Apply.
Go to control panel -%26gt; install/uninstall programme -%26gt; select chrome -%26gt; click on uninstall.

    Now, you done your job.

But chrome is a good browser.Uninstall Google Chrome?
try clicking on start menu, all programs, click on google chrome, click uninstall, or go into control panel, remove programs and uninstall. hope this helps.Uninstall Google Chrome?
I assume you use some kind of Windows?

Start-%26gt; Control Panel -%26gt; Uninstall Programs or Programs and Functions (Might be slightly inaccurate, my windows is not in english.)

You can uninstall any program there.
    Google Chrome is awesome.
Go to control panel then install/uninstall programme and select chrome then click on uninstall.

Googles has a plan for a 311 number. Some cities, like Toronto, already implemented a 311 number.

This 311 # is kind of like 411, but it can route you to service operators, or do a google search for you on the phone to find businesses and whatnot. Some of its automated by computers, and some by person.

  • Print online maps w/ routes but NOT directions?

I want to easily print just maps and the From/To route, but NOT turn-by-turn directions. Is there a good online solution? Right now with Google Maps (for example) I either have to print the map only (no path), print 19 pages of patronizing instructions with the path, or use Print Screen, paste, etc.--a pain in the ***.Print online maps w/ routes but NOT directions?
If you're a AAA member, they have TripTiks online now.

And on Google Maps, within print there's an option to include large map, and you could just print out the page that includes it, without the "patronizing" step by step instructions.

I need the shortest driving directions within Canada from Winnipeg, Manitoba to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.?

MapQuest and Google only provide directions within USA for travelling between these locations. I cannot find a site for Canadian travel only. Can anyone assist?I need the shortest driving directions within Canada from Winnipeg, Manitoba to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.?
Head east on the trans canada from Winnepeg. About an hour east of Thunder Bay is Nipigon, Ontario, take #11 and go through Cochrane, Hearst, to North Bay. In North bay take the trans Canada to Ottawa, missing the Toronto area altogether. As you enter Montreal from Ottawa, watch for the Champlain Bridge exit and head south towards Sherbrooke, Que. After crossing the bridge (10 km or so) you will head north on highway 30 towards Sorel which will take you back to the trans canada on the eastern side of Montreal, this way you will avoid most of the Montreal traffic. Head east on the trans canada through the rest of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia to North Sydney. With 2 drivers going non-stop, you can do the drive in about 40-50 hours. It is a long haul and please watch for moose on highway 11 through northern Ontario. Tim's in Cochrane and Hearst.
Well you will not be driving through Texas I know that for sure.I need the shortest driving directions within Canada from Winnipeg, Manitoba to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.?
Call your local CAA office. They provide "triptiks" which have your route marked on a map, also points of interest, recommended accomodation within your budget and other neat stuff. Well worth the membership fee, and you get service to boot. Easiest route is just follow the Trans Canada all the way.I need the shortest driving directions within Canada from Winnipeg, Manitoba to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.?
First of all, I hope you realize the massive distance of that trip, its huge! anyway if you are crazy enough to do it lol, u can do it on mapquest, i do canadian directions all the time. if that still isn't working out for you use google earth. download the free program, place a placemark on winnipeg, a second on sydney and you cna then select driving directions and they will appear before your eyes! have a fun trip!

Driving Directions from Sanford Airport to Disney?

Google maps takes me from the SFB airport to Hwy 417 South to Hwy 408 then connecting to I-4 near Dowtown then South to Disney.

Is this a better (faster) route than just hopping on I-4 near SFB from Hwy 417 North?Driving Directions from Sanford Airport to Disney?
Take the toll road and it is faster. Take the I-4 route and it will be cheaper
It's six of one and half a dozen of the other...417 south is pretty expensive as far as tolls go...as long as it's not near rush hour you may want to do 417 north to I-4 as you suggest...

p.s. if you want to skip all the traffic (408/I-4 can be pretty busy too) just take 417 south all the way to Disney...it dumps out on I-4 right in front of disney...tolls add up and it is slightly longer (just by minutes)Driving Directions from Sanford Airport to Disney?
417 to 408 is faster but there are lots of tolls. If you want to avoid tolls just hop on I-4 and go west (Tampa) till you hit Disney.

Driving Directions from Mid Valley Megal Mall back to Mont Kiara Plaza?

I recently moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and bought a GPS which is not worth a crap, anyway, I followed the directions to MidValley Mega Mall from Plaza Mont Kiara no problem but returning home my gosh, I got so lost. MidValley has many exits, according to Google map I am suppose to head toward Lingkaran Syed Putra, which exit is that from the parking space...any help is appreciated, lost and frustrated.Driving Directions from Mid Valley Megal Mall back to Mont Kiara Plaza?
    That is very complicated.

My best advice here is to use your GPS. But instead target a larger area, Mont Kiara or Sri Hartamas instead of any specific area within. This should guide you an easier route towards that general direction.

Basically when you're exiting Mid Valley the sign you should be following is Bangsar. This will bring you down onto a very busy street, where Bangsar Village (a huge shopping mall) should pass by your left, and then just go straight until you start seeing Hartamas signs.

    Hope that helps.

Again, the best way to do this is to use your GPS to give your a rough idea of where to start heading.

Driving Directions from Canada to Chile?

Where can I get driving directions and driving time from Calgary, Alberta Canada to Santiago Chile??

Mapquest and google maps don't work for that distance.

Also is it safe to drive through Honduras??Driving Directions from Canada to Chile?
Google the Pan American Highway. It will take you to Panama, where there is a stretch of swamp and jungle, that has no road of any kind, on the border between Panama and Colombia. Then after you figure out how to cross this roadless area called the Darian Gap, the Pan Am continues on south. Honduras is just as, or more, safe than some of the other countries you will be traveling.Driving Directions from Canada to Chile?
Not safe, and not economical. You would save lots of money even purchasing a flight last minute. The Panama canal will not only bring you lots of difficulties, but cost you lots of money.

You can google map it, just go through Texas, not California.Driving Directions from Canada to Chile?

  • How can I find good country walking routes in UK on the internet?

I am hoping to find the best route to walk from Chirk in Wrexham all the way to Edale in Derbyshire. The only method I know of on the internet is Google maps (get directions) and selecting walking on the drop menu. But this still follows roads whereas I want to follow walking and cycling paths and perhaps canals etc. What is the best way I can find this out online? How can I find good country walking routes in UK on the internet?
David S is right. You can't do it properly for nothing. There is no substitute for proper walking maps. The Landranger (1:50,000) series is very good. The Explorer (1:25,000) series is better but would cost a lot of money for the distance you are going.

The advantage of OS maps is that they show rights-of-way.How can I find good country walking routes in UK on the internet?
You really need to buy the Ordnance Survey Landranger maps covering the areas you are waking through; these are large scale maps showing all footpaths etc and the countryside in great detail. Buy them in large bookshops like Waterstones or from www,ordnancesurvey.co.uk

You will find basic info on the internet about national trails and long distance named footpaths:-

SEO -Does anyone know how to get multiple web pages listed in google for the same search result?

For example, searching "ikon" in google brings up the website with multiple page listings underneath. Why does this happen and what strategies can you employ to have the multiple listings come up?

Thanks for any direction :)SEO -Does anyone know how to get multiple web pages listed in google for the same search result?
For a few selected sites Google shows the regular snippet plus additional 'useful' links from within that site. According to Google the selection and presentation is done algorithmically. So you can't 'choose' to have them.

If you are interested in how it may be accomplished there is a recent Google patent application you can read on the subject http://appft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Pars鈥?/a>SEO -Does anyone know how to get multiple web pages listed in google for the same search result?
    Hi,

If your Web site have lots of pictures, but hardly any text (also called content or information). the search engines ignore graphics. They use software robots called spiders that spider your Web site (crawl through the text). Because you have very little content, the spiders will not find your Web site very tasty and will virtually ignore it.

Which means you will get very little traffic to your Web site in the form of visitors, surfers, tire kickers, etc. When you went looking for a Web Site Builder, you should have made sure that they did search engine marketing (SEM) or optimization (SEO) - creating the Web site is only 10% of the project. The other 90% is SEM.

To check how your Web site ranks go to (http://traffic-test.sitesell.com/waltera鈥?/a> No data means that the search engines don't know you exist, you are invisible to them. Invisible means no traffic = no visitors = no sales = no money.

Hiring an expert to do SEM is expensive.

You can apply to DMOS for a listing in their directory (http://dmoz.org/help/geninfo.html). It takes a long time to get accepted because a real person looks at your application, not a software robot like the search engine spider programs.

If you are lucky enough to get listed, Google will index your Web site. You can also submit your Google sitemap to Google to get them to index your Web site. You have to go to Google and get the URL for the sitemap and then create a separate Web page for that sitemap.

I assume you want to get a low page rank in Google. If that is true you need to do search engine marketing (SEM).

If you had the right Site Build It software, Site Build it software would do all submitting for you automatically.

Here is a tool you can use to check on how your Web site stacks up against other Web sites - (http://searchit.sitesell.com/waltera1.ht鈥?/a> Check for Popularity to get Alexa Rank.

There are only 4 or 5 search engines worth submitting to, the rest are a waste of time and money.

The best way to get traffic is via lots of pages with quality content for the SEs to spider.

Craigslist is just one arrow in your quiver of search engine marketing arrows. It's free.

Hey! Did you know that the major search engines are going local? They are spending millions on local search. This is just another reason to have your own Web site, such as whatever.com. You should definitely have a dot com as part of your URL. This is what surfers expect.

SEO or search engine marketing (SEM) is critical for the success of your web site. Without it, you will get no targeted traffic.

If you own a Web site, the Web site building software should have included SEO. Otherwise, using the software is a waste of time; the Web site building software is useless. SEO includes Internet marketing and while articles posting, etc. is important, the most important thing is to select the right keywords that people use to find your Web site. You need to do keyword analysis to find the best keywords for your Web site.

Then, you need to sprinkle those keywords onto your Web pages so that the search engines will find them as their spiders crawl your Web site as well as putting them in your Title, Keywords, headings and description.

Why? Think about how the major search engines work. They key on what word or phrases the users enter. How do you find keywords that users want? Use Google itself at this URL:

    https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor鈥?/a>

Just enter your keyword and it will tell you what the demand is for that keyword and how much it would cost to advertise it on Google via Google AdWords.

Supply and demand is important for keywords. You want to find the keywords with a huge demand, but very little supply.

Let me digress here and explain Supply and Demand. Assume that bad weather wipes out the coffee growing part of the world. The supply of coffee world-wide drops. But the demand is the same or increasing. Because there is a disconnect between the demand and the supply, the price of coffee goes up. It becomes a scarce commodity. Scarcity drives up prices. Look at oil and gasoline. There is plenty of oil, but the oil cartel, the companies that control how much oil is pumped out of the ground, decides how much to pump. They make sure they don't pump too much. This would increase the supply and drive down the price of oil and gasoline. Same thing happens to coffee. The growers will plant more coffee to offset their bad year and soon the price of coffee plummets.

Same with keywords, some are scarce. Those are the ones you want, high demand, little supply.

Another good keyword analyzer is Wordtracker.com. This will cost you money, but it's the best on the Web.

This is a very good book for building traffic: Search Engine Optimization - An Hour A Day by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin. Their advice is mostly free.

With this book you do not need any costly SEO services.

There are Web site builders that do most of this SEO for you. Most free web site builders do not include SEO. That's why most of them are a waste of time. Creating a Web site is easy, but it is only 10% of the job. The other 90% is SEO and it is critically important.

Do you know about Alexa rank? Alexa is an Amazon company that ranks Web sites. It takes the most active Web site which total about 65 million and compares your web site to all of them. Here is how to get to the Alexa Point Test:.http://traffic-test.sitesell.com/waltera鈥?/a>

If you have a rank under 500,000 you are doing good, it you are under 100,000 you are fantastic. Google is under 10. (http://traffic-test.sitesell.com/waltera鈥?/a> Most free Web sites get a rank of "no data"; that means they are invisible to the search engines; they get no visitors, no targeted traffic. No traffic = no money.

The Web sites that score high on Alexa have lots of content. Content is king on the Internet. What is content? Its information, information that visitors find interesting and relevant to your keywords. The more pages you have on your Web site, the better. If you have only 5 or 6 pages, the search engines will ignore you. Once you get to about 30 pages, the search engines will begin to take notice. At that time you should begin to link to other Web sites. The search engines love links, but you must avoid link farms.

Trying to game the search engines is a thankless task. They have computer science PHds developing their search engine spiders. Do you think you can compete with them? Not likely.

Sneaky techniques are called "black hat" optimization. Won't work. The SEs are changing constantly. You cannot find out what they do or how they do it. When someone finds a crack, they seal it up.

Linking is important. SEs love links. Site build it software includes automatic link exchanging.

Work hard to create more useful sites, more Web pages Get great software for building web sites. One that does SEO for you.

The best way to get more traffic is to have lots of pages, 100s of them, thousands are better, with relevant content (information). SEs love quality content.

If you have the right Site Build it software, the software submits to search engines automatically, as I said above.

How did you build your Web site? I hope it wasn't one of those free web builder sites.

You see, there are lots of Web sites that will build a Web site for you. That's where they end. Building a Web site as you probably know is only solving 5% of the puzzle. The other 95% is search engine optimization and internet marketing. Most Web Site Build It software will only do the first 5%, then they nickel and dime you to death with add-ons that purport to do SEO and internet marketing. Unfortunately most of them are scams.

So what is one to do if there is no help from your Web site building software. Do you know about NVU? This is a free web site builder that emuilates Microsofts Front Page and did I mention that it's FREE. Go here to download: http://www.nvu.com/index.php. However, like most free Web sites it does not do SEM.

Get better software for Site Building. One that has some keyword analysis. Getting search engines to spider your Web site depends on your keyword selection.

Listen! The SEs find Web site by searching for keywords. If a Web site has the right keywords or phrases, the SEs will find it and send you to the front of the class.

But how do you know which keywords are the best. Ahhh! That's the question and I will give you a web site that does keyword analysis and it's free.

The Google AdWords Keyword Tool is an excellent preliminary brainstorming tool. Let's say that you have ten ideas for a theme or Site Concept. This tool gives you a superb "high level snapshot" of how profitable each of your Site Concept possibilities might be. Here's the URL: https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor鈥?/a> - remember, it's free

This is the exact same plan used by Site Build It. See Ken's blog: ( http://blogit.sitesell.com/waltera1.html鈥?/a> I'm not saying Brad stole it from Ken Evoy, but Ken developed what is known as the C + T + P + M formula.

This is how the formula works:

    Create in-demand content (information) - C

Attract Targeted Traffic (visitors) - T

    Presell Those Visitors - P

    Monitize Presold Traffic - M

    Content

Web users search for information, for solutions. They are not looking for you - they don't even know you (yet!). They seek what you know. Give it to them. Convert your knowledge into in-demand Content. (http://ctpm.sitesell.com/waltera1.html) To succeed online, start where they start - at "the search."

    Traffic

Your topical content ranks high at the Search Engines (ex., Google, Yahoo!, MSN), attracting free, targeted (i.e., interested), open-to-you visitors. Basically, these future customers "meet you" at your site. These visitors are known as "Traffic.".

    PREsell

Complete strangers develop trust and confidence in you. Why? You "PREsell" by OVERdelivering what they seek... relevant, original, information.

Deliver it in your own voice, in your own way. Go beyond merely instilling confidence... your visitors will like you.

    Monetize

Convert warm, willing-to-buy ("PREsold") visitors into income. Called "Monetizing," this is the easy part. But "M" cannot happen if you fail to first execute C T P. This is where 99% of small businesses fail.

    Kindest Personal Regards,

P.S. Start a blog to promote your Web site. Word press is a good one. It you have the right Web Site Build software, it includes a blog feature so that every time you create a new page, it gets posted on the Web as a blog. Turn your blog into articles and submit them to article sites with your URL.

P.P.S. You flat out do not have enough content on your Web site. If you did the SEs would find you. You need more information, more Web pages with quality content, to attract traffic via the SEs.. One page Web sites have no no content. Create more pages. Use the content to submit articles to article Web sites. Make sure the articles refer back to your Web page. This will attract more visitors and the SEs.

P.P.P.S. Good articles on search engine marketing here - no hype - (http://www.jehochman.com/articles/).

P.P.P.P.S. Yes, indeed. Get this book: Search Engine Optimization - An Hour a Day by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin. It's all you need to beat you competition.

Of course, you don't set up SEO on your Web site. It's the things you do to attract targeted traffic to your Web site.

Search engines look for lots of quality content, lots of pages with relevant and interesting content - information that visitors find interesting and helpful.

Visitors are not looking for your Web site. They seek information via keywords entered in a search engine like Google.

Keyword analysis is the first step in SEO. Google can help you with that.

The Google AdWords Keyword Tool is an excellent preliminary brainstorming tool. Let's say that you have ten ideas for a theme or Site Concept. This tool gives you a superb "high level snapshot" of how profitable each of your Site Concept possibilities might be. Here's the URL: https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor鈥?/a> - remember, it's free.

Many people new to Web site creation believe that you just create a Web site and they will come. Like the baseball movie, Field of Dreams (1989), where Kevin Costner creates a baseball field in the middle of nowhere and soon thousands are flocking to the field.

This only happens in the movies, not in real life.

You must attract the search engines(SEs). The most cost effective way to do that is by creating lots of Web pages with quality, relevant content (information) that matches user's needs and requirements for information..

Potential visitors do not look for a web site per se. They do not enter your Web Address. They are looking for information. They do not enter your Web site URL into an SE. They enter keywords or phrases into the SE and the SE responds with millions of Web sites in many cases and then the surfer may make his keyword more relevant and try again. Most surfers only look at the first few pages even though there may be millions of hits on a particular keyword.

So the first thing you must do is to brainstorm you keywords - which keywords are relevant to the theme of your Web site.

But this is not enough. Remember the concept of supply and demand?

Let me explain. If there is a low supply of something, say a commodity like coffee, that means that there is not much available. What happens if many people all want a lot of coffee. That creates a big demand for coffee, but when they go to buy coffee the price has gone up. It went up because the demand exceeded the supply. This causes the coffee growers to grow more coffee. They grow too much and there is a big supply, so the price drops because the demand has dropped owing to the increase in the supplies of coffee.

The same concept can be applied to keywords or phrases. Really scarce keywords with hardly any supply related to your Web site theme.

How do you find those keywords that have a huge demand and very little supply?

    Aye, that's the rub.

One of the ways to do this without spending any money is to use Google's AdWord tool: (https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywor鈥?/a>

This tool is actually intended to help advertisers decide which keywords to buy. It provides Demand (they call it "Search Volume") and "Advertiser Competition" (another kind of Demand for your keywords!). This tool even provides the "monetary value" (optional) of your keywords (i.e., what advertisers can expect to pay).

So what do you (a publisher (a Web site builder), not an advertiser) look for? Remember this for now...

    * the more relevant keywords that are generated by this tool,

    * the greater the Demand ("Search Volume") for the keywords,

    * the greater the "Advertiser Competition", and

    * the more the keywords cost advertisers...

    ... the better for you!

Just go through the tutorials that Google has to offer.

The other tool for keywords is Wordtracker - it is not free, but is the best on the Web for analyzing keyword demand and supply: (http://www.wordtracker.com/index.html). Try their free trial. I entered "free keyword analysis" into Google and got 11 million hits so you know it's a hot topic.

Once you know what your keywords are, they form the basis of creating Web pages for your Web site. You sprinkle relevant keywords throughout your Web page. These will attract the SEs and if you have enough pages, you will rise up through the ranks and hopefully achieve a listing on the first page of the SEs.

The SEs use software called "spiders". The spiders job is to crawl the entire universe of Web sites and index them by keyword. The database index is why they can return an answer so fast because there are now a billion Web sites or so and still growing fast.

You keep adding pages to your Web site - the more pages the better. That's why the phrase, "Content is King!" came about. The SEs love lots of high quality content.

That's also why most 5 - 10 page Web sites attract no targeted traffic. The SEs just ignore them.

No content, no crawlers for you...bad dog.

However, all is not lost because once you get to about 30 pages, the SEs begin to take notice. When you reach 50 pages, you may see a page ranked number one in an SE, but don't stop there. Keep adding pages - just one a day would mount up to 365 in one year.

Now, where do you find software that can build your Web site. Here is one that is free and it's a lot like Microsoft's Front Page. These are sometimes called WYSIWYG editors, pronounced "wizeewhig" and means "What You See Is What You Get". Another more expensive editor is Macromedia's Dreamweaver, but this costs several hundred dollars. These are designed for the Geeks of the world.

The Web site for the free WYSIWYG is: (http://www.nvu.com/index.php). NVU; pronounced "New View". There are free tutorial there. More tutorials can be found by entering "free nvu tutorials" in Google.

You may want to try GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program). This is a free graphics editor that rivals best of breed Adobe Photoshop. There are free tutorials for GIMP, too here: (http://www.designyourownweb.com/gimp-tut鈥?/a>

It's a good idea to have some pictures and graphics on your Web pages to tantalize your visitors. . Not too many, though, because the search engines only recognize text. The ignore the pictures and graphics.

We now have to get recognized by the SEs. If you have enough high quality content and are patient, eventually the SEs will discover you. Impatient people use something called Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Internet Marketing. Here is a new book that does just that: "Search Engine Optimization - An Hour A Day" by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin.

Then, there is Brad Tabke's "26 steps to 15K a day". It boils down to solid content thoughtfully put together can make more impact than a decade's worth of tweaks that may or may not work such as fiddling with META tags. Find his 26 steps here: (http://www.frihost.com/forums/vt-2797.ht鈥?/a>

Get this book about Google: Google Hacks by Tara Calishain and Rael Dornfest. Some of the hacks are written in perl. I do perl, but there are other hacks which don't require it.

So hack away. And don't forget to check out Brett Tabke's "26 Steps to 15K a Day".

Finally, get this book: "Spidering Hacks - 100 Industrial strength Tips and Tools" by Kevin Hemenway and Tara Calishain.SEO -Does anyone know how to get multiple web pages listed in google for the same search result?
This is possible, but the best approach is 'one step at a time'.

Try to get your primary keyword for your index page up to the top ranks in the search engines, first.

As the importance of your website grows - more relevant content, more relevant incoming links, higher PR etc., more pages can indeed come up from your own site on a specific search.

    Good Luck.

You cannot place your Adsense ads on your YouTube videos

Adsense has a video ad unit program with YouTube, but it only shows ads from their PARTNER video producers. All you can do is to choose categories, choose individual YouTube partners, or have Google target your site's content.

But you cannot put Adsense ads on YOUR videos or any videos you want from YouTube

Has anyone ever driven a car to Anchorage Alaska from their home state?

Me and my friend want to drive out to Anchorage Alaska from New York... we found directions on google but not sure if its possible. Has anyone ever driven there? from a state.Has anyone ever driven a car to Anchorage Alaska from their home state?
Absolutely!! I'm from Anchorage, too, and I've driven to the lower 48. It will take you awhile, but you'll get there. It's a beautiful drive, and once you're on the Alcan Highway (upper Canada) you may want to bring a tent and camp out for a night or two. It's a ton of fun with a friend. I wouldn't rely on google earth, though, using it around here for me sometimes hasn't worked that great--not too accurate.I'd go to borders and look in some map books for specific instructions.

(By the way, while you're on a roadtrip, after spending some time in Anchorage, driving to Juneau (capitol) is beautiful) It takes about 2 days depending on how fast you go, and on the last part you take a ferry to get from Skagway to Juneau itself. Personally, I think Juneau is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. Surrounded by mountains everywhere you go.)

    Hope I helped!
People who live here drive to the lower 48 all the time, it can be done. It is actually a beautiful trip. Will cost lots of $$$$, Gas is even more expensive in Canada. And speaking of, make sure you have passports and clean criminal records to make it across the boarder.

Your our of radio reception a lot so bring tunes. There is good camping if you want to, The Milepost will tell you where. I personally haven't made the trip, but my husband has. We live in Dallas, but he flew to Vermont and drove to Anchorage with his cousin. They said the drive was beautiful and they camped out most of the way there and back. The trip was 4,265 miles but they enjoyed it.Has anyone ever driven a car to Anchorage Alaska from their home state?
People do it all the time, and I believe the Alaska highway is paved the entire way now.
yeah i'm from Alaska. of course! i have friends who drive down to the 48 every winter.

To get accurate driving directions, visit http://www.mapquest.com/ You will need to enter the From and To addresses for accuracy.Directions to Mulholland Dr?
Jag, I understand your problem. There is no Mulholland exit off the 405, it is just a bridge over the 405. You need to get of at exit 61 (Skirball Dr) and scoot along the east side of the 405 until it hits Mulholland Dr.

Once you get there and head east there will be scenic overlook parking spots, mostly for the Valley and Century City area views....on the other end near Laurel Canyon Dr. would be city views, but the views are mostly blocked by trees and houses.....Good Hunting !!!!!Directions to Mulholland Dr?

Hood River, ORWill someone in portland, oregon explain these bus directions to me?
The first item directs boarding a Max train, not a bus at NW 6th Ave and NW Hoyt Street. (The streets in this neighborhood are alphabetical south to north: Ankeny, Burnside, Couch, Davis, Everett, Flanders, Glisan, Hoyt, Irving, Johnson, Kearney, Lovejoy, ... York. Other potential confusion is that 7th Avenue was renamed "Broadway" and Park Avenue is between 8th and 9th.)

The tracks carry trains in both directions and multiple Max train routes run on the same tracks, distinguished by color-coding. Besides green trains, there are blue, yellow, and red. The color is only in the route reader board (at the top of the front of the train), and is not literally the color of the train, which is white plus advertising.

Before boarding at the first stop, buy a ticket from the dispenser. This journey requires fare from $1 to $2.35 depending on your age. If the dispensed ticket does not have a timestamp, insert it into a validator machine at the Max stop.

Board the appropriate Max train when it comes. (For this journey, any eastbound Red, Green, or Blue train works just as well. Eastbound Red is labeled "Airport"; eastbound blue is "Gresham", and eastbound Green is "Clackamas TC") If a fare inspector comes along anytime during your ride, pull out your ticket and display it if asked. Otherwise, you don't have to show it to anyone. Wait eight stops, and get off at the stop labeled (and announced) as Gateway/99th Ave Transit Center. No transfer is required to get there. All announcements are in English and Spanish for your convenience.

Once disembarked at Gateway, walk to the appropriate bus area, which are on both sides of the tracks. See this aerial photo http://maps.google.com/?ll=45.53053,-122鈥?/a> There are spaces for about 14 buses and three trains at once: three buses and one Max train are visible; two buses are parked for load/unload, one is driving into the transit center. A Max train is also arriving at the station from below right.

Your connecting bus is not Tri-met, so it will probably be at one end or the other of the bus area. Look for the Columbia Area Transit or CAT bus. I expect you pay $8 when boarding. See http://community.gorge.net/hrctd/Fares.h鈥?/a> If you are there more than a few minutes before the CAT's scheduled departure time, it probably won't be there. Look for a small sign which indicates where the bus will be. If you can't find one, then just stand where you can see buses arriving and watch for it.

The next stop is your stop and is in Hood River after a 65 minute ride. The CAT website planner can help guide for a walking journey from the Hood River stop.

It should be an easy and scenic journey. Good luck!

Is there an inexpensive, fairly fast way to get from UC Irvine to UCLA without a car?

I'm also really unfamiliar with the area because I'm from the Bay Area. Please don't copy paste directions from google transit. I don't think theres a train that goes form uc irvine to ucla,,,,,,, You will just have to drive! Bummer
By fairly fast I hope you mean about 2 hours. As it takes 12 hours to go from one to the other even in a car outside of rush hour.

And www.metro.net does have links on how to do this without a car if you look. Expect 3-4 hours by public transit as the Irvine Metrolink station is several miles from the UCI campus. Is there an inexpensive, fairly fast way to get from UC Irvine to UCLA without a car?
octa has a couple of routes that go to santa ana or orange metrolink

then you can use metrolink to los angeles,

then you can take the subway to wilshire and vermont then 720 to westwood

then you walk to uclaIs there an inexpensive, fairly fast way to get from UC Irvine to UCLA without a car?
OCTA has a shuttle that goes from UCI to the Tustin Metrolink station.

Take Metrolink to Union Station. Then take the red line subway to Wilshire and Western, and then Metro Rapid # 720, and get off at Westwood.
UCLA has a vanpool that runs from Irvine to UCLA every day. It will take about an hour and it costs $8 each way.
Check to see if there is a bus from the UCI library to the UCLA library.

I don't know if it exists, but it might.

How much does 1 min of cab drive cost?

Like in general in the States in mid size to large cities. Im travelling to Columbus, Ohio and getting directions on google maps to see how far is the hotel to places of interest. You can get directions if travelling by car in minutes. So I was wondering would something like 10 min drive be equal to say 15-20 bucks or less? How much does 1 min of cab drive cost?
dont ever use cab , because they will rib you off , it only took me like 10 mins to get from my mall to my house , but the cab took 45 mins , and they charge $87 , that was my first and my last time riding cab ....How much does 1 min of cab drive cost?
First, it depends on the cab company. Different companies have different rates.

Second, taxis measure using mile, not minutes.

  • Are they going to update google maps next year?

Because when I get directions through places the pictures of the streets were taken in 2009, and in my area, there was barely nothing at that time.

Are they going to upgrade it in 2012 (The 3d sketch)? Are they going to update google maps next year?
I thought it is live update.

Would I be able to sue Google?

Ok so on Google map's direction page, they have a picture of my house, business, and cars. I haven't given anyone permission to take pictures, can I sue them? I don't want those pictures to be on there.Would I be able to sue Google?
We are a litigious society...you can sue whomever you want.
ok, lol @ other answers. the correct answer is that NO you can't sue them. anyone can legally take a picture from a public place like a road. if you don't want something being seen from a road, then you should hide it from the road as far as laws are concerned.

but i think you can trust your intuition on this one. if it where illegal, and everyone in the entire world could get money from them they wouldn't have done it. the people that run google are very smart and have tons of lawyers, thats part of the reason why they are doing so well in business.Would I be able to sue Google?
The asker is most likely referring to the StreetView option on Google Maps. This service is of panoramic photos of an area around a photographing vehicle that's traveling public roads and taking pictures every few meters.Anyone in the world could do the same thing on a smaller scale so I know you wouldn't get anywhere by suing Google.I believe there was a attempted lawsuit against Google but if did nothing substantial.I personally feel that if you think people will desire to view a lone snapshot and it really will hurt you than there are other problems than Google for you.Would I be able to sue Google?
No, you can't. Aerial photographs and satellite feeds are free domain. I know this because my aunt was a pilot who consulted for the Department of Transportation and some other places like this. She was often tasked to take aerial photos for road work, and "private" domains were often part of that. They become property of the department who allows Google to use them for their aerial sites. Sorry.
you can sue anybody for anything, the odds of winning your case are very slim though. What does it hurt having photos on Google Earth? Can people see your house when they drive by or fly over in an airplane? Do you have something to hide?
Unless you're a paying member of googleearth, the satellite pics are several years old. The pic of my house is before my privacy fence went up several years ago. No you can't sue, btw.
When you go on vacation, do you ask the owners of the places you visit before taking pictures?

Get over it, work for your money, and stop crying
I don't know about sue them unless you got a few $$$ but you can certainly ask them to remove the photos. Is it part of google earth 3D? blank out numberplates, good free publicity for business?
The pics are from a satellite. Everyone and everything is on there now. Do not think there is much you can do about it.
sure, why not, give it a shot - you probably have a better team of lawyers than Google does.
Nope free domain from satallite pics. Sorry bud but you're out of luck. If you want to pursue the case, I would suggest an attorney.
why didn't you cover your house with a tarp like the rest of us?

Will someone explain to me how the toll roads work?

Ok, I have no driving licence so I don't know very much about these toll roads...

I typed in google maps 2 locations(Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan and T艒ky艒 Metropolis, Japan) and under some directions it is written Toll Road.

So my question is this: If there are 6 Toll Road words under 6 directions in Google Maps does it mean that the driver must pay for 6 Toll Roads during his travel? Will someone explain to me how the toll roads work?
I don't know about Japan but generally when you get on the road you get a ticket. When you get off the toll road they charge you for the distance you traveled based on your ticket's starting point.

I am planning a baby shower for my BFF and I need to include directions from all sides of town.?

I tried to use Google maps but they are asking me for a start point and I just want to say if you coming using 75N and 85 S and 285E...you know what I mean? Not using a specific starting address but a specific ending point.I am planning a baby shower for my BFF and I need to include directions from all sides of town.?
Why not just give the address and include the Google map, but just pointing at the address rather than creating a journey to there?聽 People will work out how to get there themselves.

聽I am planning a baby shower for my BFF and I need to include directions from all sides of town.?
Instead of getting directions, just type the end address into the search bar at the top. The location will automatically be marked. Let the others plan their own route, I think it's too messy to give directions from different starting points.

How far is Canary Wharf from Dulwich?

Im trying to work out how long it takes to go but google maps directions isn't working. How far is Canary Wharf from Dulwich?
By car, its about 8 miles.

From Dulwich follow the A2214 towards Peckham. Momentarily join the A2, followed by the A200/A101 under the Thames via Rotherhithe Tunnel. Follow the one-way system around Limehouse, following the A1203 all the way into the City.

If you wanted to take the train, it might be abit quicker seeing as you won't be sitting in traffic. Simply take a Southern train from North Dulwich station to Peckham Rye. Change onto a SouthEastern train and after three two stops, get off at Lewisham. Then take the DLR northbound towards Poplar, and get off at Canary Wharf.
    About 4/5 Miles.

EDIT: Use "Bing Maps" 5.1 miles, 18 Min's.

Journey would be quicker if use Rotherhithe Tunnel ...How far is Canary Wharf from Dulwich?
    7.8 miles

    a fair bit
Google directions is shite sometimes, it stops working and then starts again and sometimes give different times so you are better off calling up TFL and asking them. Canary Wharf is far from most places.

It differs from where in Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf station to dulwich is about 30 minutes by car so google says. I don't believe that one minute. Its not saying by walking.

    Ring TFL
7 miles - 2hrs 20 minutes to walk, and about 30 minutes by car.

  • Should Google sue this person for being stupid?

A woman named Lauren Rosenberg is suing Google for $100,000 after she walked onto a highway and got hit by a car while following Google Maps directions on her Blackberry. She disregarded, or didn't see, the warning that says: "Walking directions are in beta. Use caution - This route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths." She also apparently didn't use common sense.

    From Fortune:

Defendant Google, through its "Google Maps" service provided Plaintiff Lauren Rosenberg with walking directions that led her out onto Deer valley Drive, a.k.a. State Route 224, a rural highway with no sidewalks, and a roadway that exhibits motor vehicles traveling at high speeds, that is not reasonably safe for pedestrians.

The Defendant Google expects uses of the walking map site to rely on the accuracy of the walking directions given....

As a direct and proximate cause of Defendant Google's careless, reckless, and negligent providing of unsafe directions, Plaintiff Laren Rosenberg was led onto a dangerous highway, and was thereby stricken by a motor vehicle...Should Google sue this person for being stupid?
Just one more reason that I'm glad I'm a technological idiot. I wouldn't have even the beginning of the faintest idea how to get myself killed using a "careless, reckless, and negligent" device like a Blackberry. Just this morning, I was wondering whether I could make some money by jabbing myself in the ear with my toothbrush and then suing the "careless, reckless, and negligant" toothbrush maker for failing to provide me with a booklet describing the millions of ways that a toothbrush could be bad for me if used improperly. By the way, why isn't plaintiff Rosenberg's loy-yah also suing Blackberry, and the builders of State Route 224, and the motorists who travel on it at high rates of speed, thereby making it unsafe for confused pedestrians to wander around on it?
There was a gal in my college hometown several years back who was walking along a sidewalk reading a book, with her Walkman playing music in her ears. Poor girl stepped right into the path of an oncoming train and was killed instantly. Her parents sued the makers of Walkman, as well as the railroad. I am happy to report that they lost the suit, and the Walkman and railroad folks didn't have to pay a dime. Let's hope common sense prevails again.Should Google sue this person for being stupid?
This is the sort of lawsuit that ruins it for us all. People are substituting the internet for using a bit of common sense. I have wondered how up-to-date Google and GPS is when there are detours on roads and it gives you the directions regardless of the detours.Should Google sue this person for being stupid?
There is always a lawyer lurking to take these cases and stupid clients who hope they can make a fast buck. Hopefully, Google won't pay her off. Many companies do this just to avoid long expensive trials. They should go forward to teach others not to make frivolous lawsuits.
Sometimes I have to wonder why God even tried to give us any common sense. some of us evidently do not use it! Good Heaven's, if they told her to walk into a fire, would she do that too? She's just money hungry.
Another person not taking responsibility for her own actions and expecting a large payday.

As a pedestrian if you find an area unsafe for walking find another form of transportation to get to your destination.(DUH!!!)
That's one of the most idiotic things i've

heard in a long time. I bet that stupid

bi*ch win's too. Only in america can you

be that stupid and get paid large sums of

money for. Welcome to america ;)
File this under the lady who sued Mc Donald's for burning herself with the hot coffee. Unfortunately, that lady won and so will the stupid lady that didn't use any common sense.
Just another fine example of user stupidity seeking litigation to get undeserved money for being an idiot without a chaperon.
Sounds to me like another lazy person trying to get someone else to pay for her mistakes and probably her medical bills.
nobody should be suing anybody for their own lack of plain common sense .ridiculous what people actually get paid out for being stupid .
    i don't think any1 should sue any1.

gosh y do american people (and i'm american) have 2 b so sueish (b nice for oncE)
Being in beta is an up to scratch idea
If I did that, I think I'd be trying to hide my identity.
Stupid people are everywhere. I'm not sure of GOOGLes legal obligation, and only replying because of the Micky D coffee comment. The lady in question had a couple layers of skin removed because of boiling hot water, used for coffee. The burn was from her thigh to her knee, and the company did not provide a buffer cup. The heat was so intense that it fell from her burned fingers. Yeah she won.

This will be an interesting story to follow. Manufacturers have to use warnings for the most obvious of dangers because of lawsuits and injury's to dumb people.

I think I should be able to sue Matt up there for hitting my brain with irrational and irrelevant slobber.
I think rather than sue google she needs to sue her parents for not teaching her how to cross the road.

seriously, where is the common sense? you follow a map that leads you to a highway and you need to get to the other side, what goes through your head at that moment?

"I will try to find a safe way to cross this highway, perhaps I will go to the nearest intersection and cross there"

    or

"Google maps says I need to cross the highway here, therefor I will ignore the fact that there is a highway in front of me and I will just walk into the road.. because google say so"

If I'm right people from that state are boycotting Arizona for upholding the law that made Californians exodus in droves because they couldn't afford to pay the government's cost to support illegals education, health care and crime.

So she moves to Utah with a California attitude.

I mean it absolutely HAS to be someone else's fault, doesn't it?

Only Racist, Christians and Republicans think you should be responsible for your own actions! So we know who the jury poll will exclude.

    Um..for what?

She was walking in the street, and thinks it's Google's fault?

I hope that the judge not only throws the case out, but also makes her pay for Google's legal fees preparing for this bogus lawsuit, makes her pay for wasting the taxpayer's money, AND completely bans her from ever suing anyone ever again.
even before I heard of W.C. Fields, I knew my father was joking when he told us to go play in traffic.

I'm just surprised she got to be old enough to use a computer, and I definitely second the Darwin Awards nomination; we just call them "thinning the herd" around here.

    Calle = street

    Altura = number

Do people from Washington really kayak across the pacific ocean?

I google maped directions from USA to Japan and it makes me go up to Washington and kayak to hawaii and kayak to japan. Keeps making me go to Washington first....Do people from Washington really kayak across the pacific ocean?
Do not take Google Maps literally.

While I am sure it is possible it would be extremely dangerous even for the most experienced kayakers.
I suppose that's the most convenient way to go. Maybe they do indeed have the best kayak launching point. ;-)

How can I get to UC Irvine from UCLA without a car?

No Google mapsearch directions please. A monkey could do that. How can I get to UC Irvine from UCLA without a car?
First off, I must warn you, that is a very long commute across heavily congested areas and will take a considerable amount of time regardless of the method used to make the trip. That being said, the fastest routing would be to take a Metrolink Train from Irvine to LA Union Station then walk up to Sunset Blvd and take a #302 Limited MTA bus along Sunset blvd directly to UCLA. The local #2 also follows the same routing but is much slower. An alternative rout from Union Station would be to take a Purple line subway to Wilshire %26amp; Western then a #21 bus to UCLA. All told travel time will be at least 2 hours and 30 minutes each way under the best of conditions and the round trip fare estimate in total will be about $15. keep in mind also that your Metrolink train ticket is valid for free rides on the MTA portion of your trip. Best of luck! How can I get to UC Irvine from UCLA without a car?
UCLA has several vanpools going to Irvine. Call the vanpool office (they are in the Strathmore building) and ask if there are empty seats on the day you want to go. The vanpool will take you to a shopping center about a block from campus, from which you can take OCTA bus 79 to UCI.

Alternatively, go to the corner of Westwood and Wilshire, take Rapid bus 720 to Wilshire/Western. Then take the subway (purple line) to Union Station, and Metrolink train from Union Station. Get off at Tustin and get on OCTA bus 473 to UCI.How can I get to UC Irvine from UCLA without a car?
some people are not reading your question correctly an one peson even gave you bad bus information (ie there is no longer a metro line 21!)

How do I delete saved searches in Google Maps?

A few times when logged into my Google account, I would go to Google Maps and search addresses to obtain driving directions. Primarily, garage sales in my city.

Now, whenever I do a new search with directions, Google retains the previous searches. How do I delete these?

I already have my settings to not store web searches and supposedly map searches... but I cannot locate a place to purge these.

Where do I clear them out?

By the way, this is not a 'clear your cookies' question since I am logged into my Google account.

Thanks in advance! How do I delete saved searches in Google Maps?
Click on the maps link to go to Google Maps. Right next to the search box you should see a little down arrow. (It is between the search box and the button". Clicking this will show your saved locations. It also have a checkbox to enable auto saving and you can uncheck that if you don't want to save locations automatically in the future.

Just above that is a link that reads "edit locations". Clicking that link will take you to a page where it shows all your saved locations. Check the box next to each location you want to delete and when ready click the delete button.

This will remove your locations from the saved list.

Enjoy! :)How do I delete saved searches in Google Maps?

  • Which line in Google Maps represents the Bullet Train?

I'm trying to find a key/ legend in Google Maps that represents Japan's Bullet Train, yet I'm having no luck. If you know the answer, or could point me in the direction of a key/legend, that would be awesome. Thanks.Which line in Google Maps represents the Bullet Train?
The bold lines are rail lines in Map.

Why don't you pick "Satellite" style and zoom in so that you would see rails exactly and easily.

I don't know which bullet train line you are looking for.

There are many lines which has that train service going in Japan.

If you meant Tokaido Shinkansen, it is 東海道新幹線 in Kanji there.

You hit Tokyo,Japan and will see its station at a glance.Which line in Google Maps represents the Bullet Train?
The yellow lines are rail lines and the green are expressways. For example you can see that the Joban line goes all the way from Tokyo to Sendai through Mito, but the Joban expressway does not. There is no distinction between bullet train lines and other trunk lines on this map.

Am I the only one that has used Google?

It seems like about half the questions on Y! Answers are things that could have been found on Google in about a third of the time that it took to type the question on here. Driving directions from New York to Boston? Really? You don't think there's another way to figure that out?

In all seriousness, do most people not realize that things like Google exist? Did it not get as much publicity as I thought it did?Am I the only one that has used Google?
I use google to answer most of these questions

I guess this site wouldn't get too many responses if it wasn't for googleAm I the only one that has used Google?
Ugh people are so stupid I agree with you asker. Although I would rather answer an eeasy google search answer question than a question that has abolsutely no details this is the worst when trying to answer computer questions.
