Currently Google Maps gives car directions contiguously in almost all South America including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay. But the northern part: Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela the service is not offered. Anyone knows why? Or when it will be offered?When will Google Maps work in all South America?

What's the best type of maps directions?
What's the best kind of maps with directions on like google maps!!! It needs to have walking directions, bus directions, car directions and also it needs to have good and quick directionsWhat's the best type of maps directions?

How reliable are the Chicago CTA travel times on Google Maps?
I was wondering if the travel times are accurate when I'm looking for directions in Chicago using Google. I've heard the times are kind of inflated and the time spent on the El is actually shorter than what it says. Anyone familiar with Chicago transit to be able to verify this? I appreciate any help/advice.How reliable are the Chicago CTA travel times on Google Maps?

There is no real set schedule to the buses or trains. However, the times on www.transitchicago.com are relatively accurate most of the time regarding how long a trip takes.
However--about 1/3 of the time your train will become stuck on the track for short periods of time. So, there's no way to ever know for sure.

Google/Yahoo re-directions?
Everytime i search for ANYTHING on google/yahoo, i get redirected to a website that has nothing to do with what i searched for, and i look at the url and it says something like floridatraffic or directsomething.

Sounds like you might be infected with the same virus I was. These "rootkit" viruses are very good at hiding themselves from antivirus software. But there are some tools out there that look specifically for these things and remove them.
The 1st one to try is TDSSKiller.exe:

If that doesn't do the job you can try Combofix (I used this to fix my redirect problem):

Oh, and to reduce the chances of a virus like this installing itself again in future, you should update Java (I heard it installs itself by taking advantage of a vulnerability in a previous version of Java). To do this open Control Panel and (in classic view) open the Java Control Panel. On the Update tab click the "Update Now" button. Pick a location near to you that Google Maps does recognize and use that as your address for mapping purposes. Why cant i find directions to hogwarts on google maps?
so i was sitting in my trailer the other day and i thunk to myself dam would it be nice to be like one of them british wizard folk. i found a stick in my backyard i can use for a wand and tried to get an owl but it turns out the only way i can get one as a pet is to shoot it wit pa's 12 guage. dont matter much tho i cant seem to find hogwarts on the google maps. no sense in hitchin' if i dont have directions yall know what i mean. cant find hogsmeade either.Why cant i find directions to hogwarts on google maps?
You can't find those on a map because they use cloaking magic to hid them from muggles like you. You have to receive a letter from Hogwarts inviting you to the school to be able to go. If you didn't get your letter before turning 11 or shortly after, you can't go. Sorry.
You are really missing out, though. Hogsmeade is more wonderful than you could have imagined. My favorite class is Charms. :D
