Yahoo, Google, map Quest or AAA which do you prefer I have heard many different things so maybe someone that has taken the trip before or even knows which website to recommend. You'll have to look that up. I do travel all over Texas and any road you see will be a good one. Don't travel without a recent map in your car and you can get free ones at each travel bureau as you enter that state. I've had most websites send me to wrong places but I was looking for local football stadiums. You can do it yourself. It's really pretty simple.

Another thing of interest is. . .don't know what the magazine is called. It's small maps of towns and coupons for motels. I got them in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and La and usually at a Shoney's. They are pretty good deals throughout the week but look the motels over as you would anyway. Mapquest works but i personally use google maps
a road atlas is best.
