On Google search the first search will bring up 2x4 links?

If you do a google search on a company the first result will display a 2 column by 4 row of the companies links.



For example a search for Yahoo will display the links below,



Mail........................Games

My Yahoo...............Messenger

Finance..................Get Directions

Sports....................United States



How is this achieved?

These are called Google SiteLinks and there isn't a real way to get 'em. Just like the PageRank, SiteLinks depend on many things, too. A good overview of these factors can be found be googleing (or Yahooin' if you prefer ;) ) something like 'Google SiteLinks' or just check out my linked pages in the source.
